When I came across this recipe, the photo caught my eye. No yeast? No kneeling? How can this be so fluffy and gluten free? Nevertheless, I pre-heated the oven and committed to the popover.
I admit that the boy was a little bored while I was in the kitchen, so I cheated and used cold eggs. I know, cardinal sin of baking, right? I image that's why my popovers came out of the oven a bit dense and not-so puffy.
But I didn't care because these things are delicious! This is my new go-to recipe for dinner rolls or even a quick sandwich bread. I will be trying some more recipes from Nicole's website.
